I’m often asked when is the right time to have family photos and my answer is now. Life is crazy, imperfect, busy and unpredictable and photos capture a moment in time that can never be reproduced.

A family photoshoot with me allows you to embrace those fleeting moments, gives you a chance to stop and spend time together and create some wonderful memories for you and your children.

Our time together will be fun, relaxed and allow you to enjoy each other, have some laughs and cuddles while I chase you with my camera.

It usually takes around an hour and can take place at your home, your favourite local park or one of my secret wonderful outdoor places. We can discuss your preferences beforehand and I’ll take the time to understand a little bit about your family and your wishlist of images from the shoot.

After the shoot, I will curate a collection of the very best images for you to view. It will include a variety of individual shots of the children, the kids together, the whole family and every other combination. If it’s an extended family, there will be images of individual family groups, the entire crew and lots of options to review. You’ll usually see 50-80 images that I guarantee you will love.

We will then arrange a time in the following two weeks for your viewing session at my home studio in Willoughby. This will give you the chance to go through your images and see a broad range of product samples to help you decide how you’d like to display them. This is not a high-pressure sales situation and I only want you to purchase images you love. My super-clever software helps you compare images, visualise them on your own walls, consider colour or black & white treatments and create artwork to suit your home.

You’ll have a full pricelist prior to this session so there are no nasty surprises and no minimum spend. Viewing sessions usually take around an hour.

Once you’ve ordered, your images will be individually retouched and sent into production with my Australian suppliers. Your beautiful products will be ready for collection in 4-6 weeks, ready to be displayed and enjoyed for many years.
