Copy of family photo experience (3).gif

The chaos of family life - it’s madness, right? Just keeping on top of the actual physical things that have to happen (you know what I mean - registering for netball, orthodontist visits, birthday party gifts, what’s for the dinner!! Let alone if you are trying to have a career!) PLUS the mental load of all the things you’re actually quietly tracking in your head that you never get to - it’s impossible!

And yet as the saying goes “the days are long but the years are short” and parenting small people just goes so quickly.

JUST. LIKE. THAT.

Have you been thinking about family photography but keep putting it off? Waiting for the ‘right’ time?

I promise you, right NOW is the best time to capture your family and mark this moment in your family life.

Please please please, stop waiting to lose 5kg or pausing until your pre-schooler’s front teeth appear - embrace life as it comes because it is all so fleeting. Just do it! I can guarantee this is something that you never regret.

Remember Ferris Bueller on his day off??

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”!

Let’s take a breath and carve some time in amongst the chaos of the everyday to enjoy some time with your people and remind yourselves that every moment matters.

My family photoshoots are fun, relaxed and allow you to take a minute to look at your partner and the kids, laugh, hug and just be together. You might even forget I’m there with my camera, snapping away and capturing it all.

To help you cherish your tribe, I’m offering a limited number of photoshoots for just $75.

Your investment includes $250 credit towards prints or products and is worth $400!

No excuses now!!

What’s the catch?

No catches, no minimum spend, no obligation.

Just the chance to update your family portraits and create some beautiful memories.

Who is this lady? Not sure if I’m the right photographer for you? Here’s what some clients had to say about their experience -

We used Kirsten for some very special 70th birthday family photos. From beginning to end the whole project was easy and an enjoyable experience for everyone involved! Kirsten engaged with all 11 of us on the shoot – the kids loved her, meaning we got some great candid shots. The process of vetting and choosing photos was streamlined. With 3 families involved you can imagine this could be tricky but the process she uses made everything so much easier. The quality of finishes on photos and framing was top class and we now have a gorgeous gallery of photos which will sit on our walls forever. I would highly recommend Kirsten to anyone.

We had such fun as a family while Kirsten captured such great moments & memories in our home. It was very special for us as we were leaving our beautiful home where we started our family. We loved our photos so much we bought loads of framed canvas prints & framed photos. We’re very grateful to have them displayed in our new home. Can’t recommend Kirsten enough.

I was so lucky to get Kirsten to do our family photos. She was not only professional but put us all at ease, which created an environment where the kids personalities could really shine. She understood, being a mum herself, that getting everyone together and looking nice is challenging. She made the whole process easy & fuss free.

Kirsten, made me look and feel good during the shoot and I finally have some beautiful photos of me and the kids. She is amazing.

I would not hesitate to recommend her.

BUT WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THESE BEAUTIFUL IMAGES?

There are so many gorgeous ways to display and enjoy your images and digital images on your phone just don’t make you zing! You know it and I definitely know it!

A framed print of you all together? That makes you zing! An album telling your whole story? Definitely zing-worthy. A collage of your beautiful people all smiling, groomed and happy - zing-zing-zing!

While I delight in collaborating with your family and getting “the shot”, my favourite part of the photography process is showing and sharing your photos with you and helping you decide the best way to enjoy them. Maybe it’s a set of canvases of the kids together? Or an acrylic block for the mantle piece? Perhaps you have a gallery wall and want to get a whole set of images to frame yourself.

Matted prints start at $195 and custom-framed wall art options are available from $595.

I don’t want you to have any nasty surprises or feel pressured to buy at all. Full transparency and no minimum spend.

Honestly, just beautiful images created and presented in a way you can enjoy every day (and psssst - you get complimentary matching digital files for all the images you print too!)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much will this cost? Your $75 investment includes the full photoshoot experience and $250 credit towards your order. There will be a full gallery of beautiful images from our session for you to view (usually around 60 and often more) and there are lots of options for displaying your images. I can provide digital file packages but really encourage you to print and cherish your images, because you know that life is busy and trying to print these yourself is just another job to add to your never-ending list. Wall art options start at $595 and there are lots of options for ‘frame it yourself’ matted prints, desktop acrylic images or albums. You’ll have a full price guide before the shoot so there’s total transparency and no hidden surprises. I only want you to print images that you love and my sales assistant is very low-pressure. It’s my cavoodle, Charlie. :) Please do note that your investment does NOT include any digital files or images and that the $250 credit will go towards purchase of your favourite photos. Most clients spend between $795 and $2,500 but there is no obligation or minimum spend.

What should we wear for the photoshoot? I’ll send you a guide before the shoot with some hints and tips on clothing to help create a cohesive look for your images and make life easier with outfit choices for your session.

My kids hate having their photos taken - how will you manage? I have three somewhat reluctant photo subjects myself and many years experience wrangling small (and big!) people to make them comfortable and focus on enjoying the session, rather than posing for the photos. You’ll all have fun and I promise, there will be beautiful photos captured!

Where do you take the photos? We can schedule your session anywhere from the park, the beach or harbourside, your backyard or beyond. I definitely have some favourites but love finding new locations so if you have a spot special to your family or somewhere funky in mind, let’s go there. As long as we can find some beautiful light, we’ll be just fine.

Do you photograph extended families? I LOVE capturing large family groups and creating images that reflect all those wonderful relationships - grandparents and grandkids, cousins, aunts and uncles - bring them all and let’s really have some fun.

I have so many questions I don’t know where to start !….. please, give me a buzz and let’s have a conversation. I’m old school and love a chat on the phone and want to make sure you have all the answers to your questions!

Final question - you look familiar ….. where have I seen you?

Oh yeah - hi - I’m Kirsten, mum of three beautiful young women.

You’ll often find me at Willoughby Park with my fur baby, Charlie; drinking coffee with whoever is around to catch up with; or swimming in the ocean, which is my happy place.

I’ve lived in Willoughby with my husband, Ian, for 20 years but am a Shire girl (shhh, don’t tell anyone). My girls are now 21, 18 and 16 and growing up so so quickly.

I have been photographing Willoughby families, little kids, big kids and special moments professionally for the past 10 years. I love what I do and still can’t believe I get to call it a job.

I’d love to help you capture some gorgeous photos of your people. Let’s get together to create some lasting family memories, because, it really does go by in a blur.

PS. Ladies, I ALSO hate having my photo taken …. so I TOTALLY understand … and most definitely offer “digi-botox”, as one of my recent clients requested :))))) and clearly, I’ve had some in this photo!!! :)
